• STMA was founded in 1983 in Ann Arbor, Michigan while Dr. Gamota was both the Director of the Institute of Science and Technology and a faculty member at the University of Michigan. Since 1986 STMA has been located in Lexington, Massachusetts, the birthplace of America and conveniently nestled in Boston’s Route 128 high tech corridor. . STMA has and continues to work with various organizations, including private companies and government agencies both in the U.S. and abroad. STMA typically forms ad hoc teams for each new project and has access to a wide range of consultants with expertise in a broad range of technology and business related activities.
